Military Command and staff training started in Shivpuri

The command and staff training of the 31st batch has started at the Military Command and Staff College in Shivpuri.

Inaugurating the training, Deputy Director General of Military Training Santosh Kumar Dhakal said that with the development of technology, the rapid and extensive changes taking place in various fields are a security challenge and we must be ready to face them.

He advised the trainees to make good use of the training in order to prepare themselves in such a way that they can face any challenge that may come in the future.

Education Commissioner Baburam Shrestha said that the main objective of the training is to prepare staff officers who are capable of planning and implementing the multifaceted responsibilities that the army has to perform. According to Directorate of Military Public Relations and Information, 54 officers including two women of the Nepali Army participated in the training, which is important for developing the staff and leadership capacity of middle-level officers.

One/one officer from Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and National Investigation Department and one/one soldier from Bangladesh, China, India, Kenya, Maldives, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, United Kingdom, United Kingdom and United States of America are participating in the training. The college, which was established on 14 January 2049, started command and staff training for the first time on 20 August 2050 with 12 trainee officers.

The participation of foreign learners started in the year 2010, 1,733 people from Nepal Army, 15 from Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and 27 from Nepal have already participated in the training. A total of 1,348 learners have been trained, including 18 from the National Research Department, one from the Ministry of Defense and one hundred and fourteen from different countries.
