Kathmandu: Yesterday, Saturday, the Walk and Run competition was completed in Kathmandu. Walk and Run competition was organized under PINK CAREATHON in cooperation with Nepal Police Wives Association and Ledger Port Nepal.
The event was held at National Police Training Institute Maharajganj under the chief hospitality of Sunita Dangol, Deputy Chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
Dangol, the deputy head of the competition, started the competition by hoisting the flag. Expressing his greetings on the occasion, he discussed that the competition is very useful for mental and physical health.
In the event, Nepal Police Wives Association President Mrs. Lakshmi Kunwar, officials of the association and officials of Laser Port Nepal awarded prizes to the winners of the race competition.
Women police officers working under Nepal Police Headquarters and Kathmandu Valley Police Office and women representatives of various organizations also participated in the race. Races of 3 km, 5 km and 10 km distance were held in the competition.
