11 Baisakh, Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Health and Population Minister Upendra Yadav is going to America to participate in a conference on population.
Minister Yadav’s team is going to America on April 27 to participate in the 30th International Conference on Population Development.
Under the leadership of Minister Yadav, Ministry of Health and Population Coordination Division Chief Dr. Chumanlal Das, Population Division Chief Vinod Bahadur Kunwar, Minister Yadav’s Personal Secretary Bhavnath Khatiwada and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will remain.
Nepal’s view on population development will be presented in the conference. The program is on until May 3. There is a schedule to return only after that programme.
This is Minister Yadav’s first foreign visit after holding the Health Ministry for the second time. Earlier, when he held the Ministry of Health in 2075/76, Minister Yadav was very busy in foreign visits. At that time, he had visited more than one and a half dozen foreign countries in a period of one and a half years.
