Lalitpur: A two-day Christian Media Conference organized by the Christian Journalist Fellowship concluded today, Wednesday.
The conference saw participation from Christian media personnel from Kathmandu Valley as well as other regions and was organized with the objective of developing the capabilities of Christian media professionals, according to Dinesh Shrestha, the chairman of the Christian Journalist Fellowship.
The conference emphasized the struggles faced by Christian media, the challenges they endure, and possible solutions. It also highlighted the cooperation Christian media professionals should have with the church.
Various speakers addressed the necessity, role, and responsibilities of Christian media professionals within the Christian community.
On the first day of the conference, Sher A.C., General Secretary of NCF Nepal, spoke on the aspects that Christian media personnel should focus on in their writing and presentation. Similarly, Rajendra Malla, Deputy General Secretary of the Nepal Christian Society, emphasized the importance of Christian journalists being a light and disseminating positive news.
On the second day, various pastors spoke about the significance of media professionals and their role in the development, growth, and prosperity of the community.
