Kathmandu – Talented Nepali national cricket team spinner Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi has signed a contract with Janakpur Bolts for NPR 1.5 million. In Sunday’s auction for the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Rajbanshi had set his minimum price as NPR 1 million under the A category, but due to competitive bidding, his final price reached NPR 1.5 million. Six teams expressed interest in acquiring him, but through a draw, he was eventually signed by Janakpur Bolts for NPR 1.5 million.
Rajbanshi’s signing is expected to strengthen Janakpur Bolts, as he is known as one of the best spin bowlers in Nepali cricket.
