Sydney – Community Voice of Australia (CVA), emerging as a new force in Sydney-Australia’s political landscape, has begun establishing its identity with the goal of representing the Nepalese community. CVA’s vice-president, Deb Gurung, ran for the position of mayor/councillor in the Liverpool City Council elections, bringing the party to new heights in Australian politics. Describing the campaign as a significant step for the party’s future, Gurung expressed that the election outcome has infused their journey with renewed energy.

According to Gurung, although the party did not achieve the expected results, this is only the beginning. “The support and positive response we received in this election have inspired us to move forward even more strongly in the coming days,” Gurung said. He mentioned that the party’s election campaign has created a new sense of enthusiasm within the Nepalese community, adding, “This journey is just the start. In the future, we will present ourselves even more robustly and raise our community’s voice effectively in politics.”

Thanking his supporters and the voters in the Liverpool area during the campaign, Gurung said, “Our campaign played an essential role in uniting the community. We are committed to making the Nepalese community’s political contribution even more impactful in the future.”

CVA’s participation in the election and the party’s display of confidence signals a strong presence of the Nepalese community in Australian politics. Clarifying the party’s upcoming strategies, Gurung stated, “The achievements we have made so far will guide us into the future,” expressing confidence in achieving greater success in the next elections.

This campaign by CVA has played a crucial role, particularly in attracting the youth to politics and uniting the Nepalese community to create a new identity in Australia’s political scene. According to Gurung, based on the support and trust the party has received, CVA will advance even more strongly and organized in the coming days, solidifying the Nepalese community’s political participation in Australia.
