The first conference of Nepali Christian youth in Sydney concluded

Sydney, October 5 – On Saturday, October 19, 2024, a historic conference of Nepali Christian youth was successfully held for the first time at the Gospel Nepali Church located at 29 Queen Street, Auburn, Sydney. Titled “Your Gift in the Lord’s Service,” the conference saw enthusiastic participation from over 100 youth representing more than five churches across Sydney.

The conference began with a worship session led by the praise and worship team through hymns and songs of praise. Led by leaders Sailesh Maharjan and John Giri from the Gospel Nepali Church, the event lasted for three hours and was filled with inspiration. The program was hosted by church leader Anu Shrestha, while the keynote sermon was delivered by Elder Ramesh Verma from the Hosanna Nepali Church.

Various activities like Bible quizzes, sports, and Christian dances added an element of entertainment and inspiration to the conference. Participating churches included the UNSCC Church, Trinity Church, Sydney Nepali Church, and Hosanna Nepali Church, among others. The attendees expressed joy over such a large and collaborative event being held for the first time.

Pastor Jeevan Rayamajhi of the Gospel Nepali Church pledged to continue organizing such events and mentioned plans for more youth conferences in the future. At the end, Elder Ramesh Verma from Hosanna Nepali Church was honored with a traditional shawl and certificate of appreciation by Pastor Jeevan Rayamajhi and other church leaders.

The conference concluded with Pastor Rayamajhi expressing gratitude to all the participants and offering a closing prayer. This historic event is believed to play a significant role in uniting Nepali Christian youth.
