Sydney, Australia – This November and December, two important community events will take place in Sydney, focusing on family values and global peace. 4th Filial Piety Writing ContestThe Chinese People’s Federation for World Peace (CPFWP) in Australia is organizing the 2024 Filial Piety Family Festival, which will host its 4th Filial Piety Writing Contest. The contest is open to all residents of Australia, encouraging participants to write a heartfelt “Letter to My Parents.” Submissions, which can be in English or Chinese, should be between 500-1000 words and will be judged based on content, writing skills, and authenticity.Three categories will be judged:High School (Years 7-9)High School (Years 10-12)Adult (19+ years)The top three winners in each category will receive cash prizes: $200 for first place, $150 for second, and $100 for third.
