Sydney – Singer Hemant Sharma enthralled the audience during a special musical event held on Friday evening at the Flavors of Nepal Nepali Restaurant in Granville, Sydney. He performed his popular songs, “Maya Garchu Bhane Le Maya Dekhaideu” and “Thap Na Thap Hatai Ma Mayako Chino Maiyalu,” which further energized the event. When he presented the timeless hit “Michaelier,” the audience’s applause filled the hall, creating a joyful ambiance. The evening brought together spectators of all ages, making the program even more special.

Sharma was honored by the restaurant’s owner, Rajesh KC, senior journalist Hemanta Kafle, NRN TV host and senior journalist Rajan Ghimire, NRN NSW coordinator Binod Kunwar, Pandit Narayan Shastri, President of Hindu Society Lekhnath Bastola, and NRN’s Keshav Khadka, who jointly presented him with a letter of appreciation.

Having recently arrived in Australia, Hemant Sharma has already performed in Melbourne and other cities. During this Sydney event, he entertained the audience with classic Nepali songs and announced that he would also perform at the Nepal Festival 2024, set to be held in Sydney on November 23, following his concert in Adelaide.

The event was organized by the Nepali restaurant, Flavors of Nepal, which has previously honored artists like Sindhu Malla, Badri Pangeni, and Ram Krishna Dhakal, contributing to the promotion of Nepali art and culture. According to the organizers, this event aimed to unite the Nepali community while strengthening the cultural identity of Nepal.

Expressing gratitude for the love and respect he received from the Nepali community in Australia, Hemant Sharma described the evening as an unforgettable moment.
