Kathmandu – Chitralekha Yadav has been appointed as Nepal’s ambassador to Australia. On Sunday, President Ram Chandra Paudel officially appointed her to the position.
According to a statement issued by the Office of the President, Yadav was appointed as the residential ambassador to Australia based on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, as per Article 282, Clause (1) of the Constitution.
Yadav had been approved by the Parliamentary Hearing Committee during a meeting held on October 2 (16th Asoj).
