Sydney – Nepali student Anupama Bastola has been elected as the President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) at Excelsia University College, Australia. Currently pursuing a Master of Social Work, Bastola secured her victory through direct voting.

Her achievement in student leadership further highlights her decision-making abilities and leadership skills. Known as a skilled organizer, impactful speaker, and active student leader, Bastola has already received several awards both within and outside Australia.

Excelsia College hosts students from over 50 countries, creating a vibrant multicultural environment. After being elected, Bastola expressed her commitment to empowering international students and advocating for their rights and well-being.

“This college is a common platform for students from various nations. It is essential to build an atmosphere of collaboration while respecting each other’s cultures,” she stated. “My primary goal will be to address student issues and contribute to the development of the college.” Her success has inspired and encouraged many other Nepali students pursuing education in Australia.
