Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Binod Ghimire has been appointed as the central spokesperson of Nepal Police.
The Nepal Police Headquarters issued a notice on Thursday stating that Ghimire has been assigned the responsibility of the central spokesperson.
Previously, in the absence of a DIG at the Inspector General’s Secretariat, SSP Ramesh Thapa had been handling the duties of the spokesperson. Now, Thapa has been designated as the assistant spokesperson. He will continue working at the Inspector General’s Secretariat.
